Why should we lean into our discomforts ?

While many of us run from what is uncomfortable,
it has become my favorite practice.
I love challenging my body
as to what it can endure
so to witness the lesson.
Currently working on leaning into the feelings,
as they are my ultimate test.
For much of my life
I would shove my feelings
down deep inside of me.
The happy smile was just a front.
I’m promising myself
to keep leaning in
and to lead by example.
The real lesson is in vulnerability, challenge and humility.
Thank you to my teacher Thomas Daniels
for this awesome experience 🥶
heat is my comfort zone
so testing my limits in the cold
is a new and exciting practice. S
o excited to have Tom as my teacher
and to roll out a fun combined effort this summer 🧊 🔥
Are you interested in our hot yoga ice plunge workshop in July? Have you ever submerged your body in below zero temps? I didn’t even realize I almost cried, but leaning into the feeling made all disappear … then the peace came 🤩
Peace & Love,
Nik
